Theres always so much I wanna write about but I'm affraid to because I want to keep a theme going.
But I'm home :)
Friday was a busy. fucking. day.
I woke up at 715 to make final preparations before the cab at 730 came to sweep me off to the port of air.
900 I hit security and they tell me my bag "distorted the xray" so "we're going to have to take a look inside please... sir."
I definitely should have taken the scenario more seriously but the first thing to come out of my mouth was "well I don't have any plutonium if that what your after ha ha ha"
....
"Hahahah dont worry it happens all the time."
Man that 4 second interruption of conversation made me rather scared though.
So all of that aside, I get on the plane and they had to spray it down with anti-freezing foam shit that made the plane turn all orange and green. If you dont follow, just know it was just as confusing to watch as it was to read. I had an excellent conversation with a business man of the paper industry who was also flying home to Saskatoon to be with some family. Good man, we chatted about business (seriously some NASDAQ shit.)
Plane creeps closer and closer to the ground and finally makes that impact where for half a second you cant help but imagining the plane swivelling off the runway and crashing into another aircraft or the airport itself or a orphanage the doubles as a puppy factory.
But all was well.
Brittney was waiting eagerly upon my arrival and she swooped me off to St. Joes where I finished the Joker painting series for Chelsea for secret santa with Siems.
Then party time.
The party started with the usual pleasantries but I feel as though people had been there or quite a bit longer than we thought because as soon as we stepped in the door it was present time. Needless to say the Joker's were a success. I love it when a painting comes together.
The rest of that night is lost to me really, I was Christmas drunk.
Saturday,
Brittney, Dave, Doug, Boots, Matt, and Jimmy and myself chillaxed in Wag-manor while watching Life by the BBC.
Matt drank gratuitous amounts of my rum and I helped a bit, but we were nothing compared to the full on force of Doug who was absolutely slosh-shmammer-trash-pwned. To the point of rocking back and forth on the couch haha. The night was hilarious thanks to that man who kept saying "respect that" and giving a casual pound it to pretty much anything anyone said.
All in all good weekend, but Chris is on his way to get me now, we're going to Whiskey Jack's :P
tis the season
fuck off
